Recording a Schpin
Open the iPhone app, allow precise location and choose Always location access when prompted so an active journey can continue while iPhone is locked. Start only while parked. Pause or end the trip from Schpin or its active system controls.
A drive has not synchronised
Schpin keeps completed journeys on your device when the connection is unavailable. Reconnect to the internet, open the iPhone app and pull down to refresh. Do not delete the local journey while it is waiting to synchronise.
Location or distance looks wrong
GPS accuracy can be affected by tunnels, buildings, weather and device settings. Confirm Precise Location is enabled for Schpin and keep Low Power Mode off during important recordings. Schpin filters unreliable samples, but recorded routes and metrics remain estimates.
Privacy and deletion
Privacy, sharing and deletion controls are available only in the iPhone app under Settings. See the Privacy Policy for information about the data Schpin processes.
Community safety
Block accounts that you do not want to interact with and report unlawful, abusive, dangerous or privacy-invasive content to support@schpin.app. Include the profile or Schpin involved, but do not put yourself at risk to collect evidence.
Safety and emergencies
Schpin is not an emergency, navigation or vehicle-control service. Never troubleshoot the app while driving. Stop somewhere safe first. For an immediate emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency service rather than Schpin support. Read the Safety Centre before recording.
