These standards explain what belongs in the Schpin community and how we respond when content or conduct puts people at risk.

Share responsibly
Post routes and memories you have a right to share. Use accurate, respectful titles and comments. Consider whether publishing a route could expose a home, workplace, vulnerable person, private gathering, valuable vehicle or sensitive routine.
Dangerous driving content
Do not organise or promote racing, speeding, drifting, time trials, police evasion, impaired driving, unlawful off-roading, trespass or other dangerous conduct. Do not invite others to beat a time, speed or performance metric. Documentary discussion may be allowed where it does not praise, instruct or encourage harmful behaviour.
Respect and safety
No threats, bullying, harassment, hate, sexual exploitation, doxxing, stalking or encouragement of violence or self-harm. Do not target people based on protected characteristics or mock victims of collisions. Credible threats may be preserved and referred to the appropriate authorities where lawful.
Privacy and participant tagging
Add a person to a Schpin only when you reasonably believe they were involved and consent to the association. Do not identify another driver, passenger, address or live location to shame, accuse or track them. Remove or correct a tag when reasonably asked.
Authenticity and manipulation
Do not impersonate people or organisations, falsify routes, manipulate GPS or reactions, coordinate deceptive engagement, evade enforcement, post scams or misrepresent commercial promotions. Vehicle information must not be used to suggest ownership or endorsement you do not have.
Intellectual property
Share only material you created or are permitted to use. Do not copy another person’s photographs, writing, maps, branding or private route data without permission. Rights holders may contact us with sufficient information to identify the work and alleged infringement.
Reporting and blocking
Use in-app reporting and blocking tools where available. For serious issues, email support@schpin.app with links, screenshots and context. Do not misuse reports to intimidate people or suppress legitimate criticism. Call emergency services if there is immediate danger.
Enforcement
Depending on severity, context and history, we may reduce visibility, remove content, issue a warning, restrict features, suspend or terminate an account, prevent repeat registration, or preserve and disclose information where lawfully required. Severe conduct may justify immediate action. Users may contact support to request review of a decision.
